Omaxe, a prominent player in the real estate construction and development sector, has unveiled plans for a substantial Rs 64.8 crore project. This new venture involves the establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Mr. Rohtas Goel, the Chairman and Managing Director of Omaxe, announced that construction is set to commence next month.
In addition to this development, Mr. Goel revealed that Omaxe's order book currently stands at an impressive Rs 825 crore. He expressed intentions to add a further Rs 200 crore to the order book for Omaxe Infra in fiscal year 2011. Moreover, the company is strategizing to raise Rs 800 crore, contingent upon favorable market conditions.
Highlighting the company’s projections for FY11, Goel indicated that the sales for the infrastructure segment are anticipated to reach Rs 500 crore, a significant increase from the previous year's Rs 200 crore. Furthermore, the company has also reported a profit of Rs. 50 crore for the current fiscal year.
