Noida Authority to sale 900 unused flats in December

The Noida Authority intends to initiate its highly anticipated scheme this year by allotting 900 flats in the first week of December. According to the civic body, the scheme will include 52 flats for the middle-income group (MIG), 55 for the high-income group (HIG), 155 for the low-income group (LIG), 160 for the economically weaker section (EWS), and 490 for the Shramik Kunj categories. These apartments are situated in Sectors 67, 73, 93, 99, 100, 110, 122, and 135.

The civic body identified these 900 previously unused apartments after undertaking a survey in the region that lasted a month. Allocation of the units will be conducted strictly through a draw of lots system.

The rates for these apartments have been determined: MIG flats will be priced at ₹59 lakh, HIG flats at ₹1 crore, LIG flats at ₹37 lakh, EWS flats at ₹10 lakh, and Shramik Kunj flats will be available for ₹4.7 lakh.

The civic body anticipates reserving 50% of the units for local farmers, industrialists, and Authority staff. However, the ultimate decision regarding this aspect will be made in due course.

The scheme was delayed because the finance department required additional time to decide the apartment rates. The dates for issuing the official notice for the devised scheme will be announced soon.

In accordance with an earlier announcement, the civic body also intends to roll out its plan for 501 shops in Sector 69. This particular initiative has been postponed because of the grower and transporter strikes that occurred recently.
