L&T bags Rs 1,337 cr deal from DLF

In a significant development, India's foremost construction company, L&T, has clinched a construction deal worth Rs 1,337 crore from DLF for a new residential project located in Gurgaon.

The project, named 'The Crest,' encompasses a total of 765 residential units, with an impressive 250 already sold. In a strategic move aimed at ensuring the swift delivery of this project, DLF has chosen to outsource the construction to third-party firms.

L&T's responsibilities in this endeavor include a comprehensive scope: construction, civil engineering, structural work, external services, landscaping, as well as all other essential construction activities tied to the project.

Furthermore, it’s noteworthy that DLF reported a net profit of Rs 711.92 crore and a total revenue of Rs 7,773 crore in the fiscal year 2012-13, underscoring its solid financial foundation.

To oversee the project management for this venture, DLF has engaged MACE, a globally recognized consultancy and construction firm known for its management of iconic projects such as the London Eye, Heathrow Airport T5, and the 2012 London Olympic Games.

With 'The Crest' positioned as their next luxury offering, DLF is committed to employing the finest construction techniques and partnering with leading companies in the industry to ensure the highest quality for this project.
