European Real Estate Giant Enters India

Yoo by Strack is set to make its entrance into the Indian real estate landscape with the introduction of a significant residential development in Pune, amounting to ₹1,500 crore. This ambitious project spans over 21 acres of land and, in its initial phase, will feature six towers, each standing 30 stories tall. The company has collaborated with Panchshill Realty as its local partner to undertake this venture.

In addition to its initial project, Yoo by Strack is eyeing expansion into key Indian metropolitan areas such as Delhi, Goa, and Bangalore, with plans to invest approximately ₹1,800 crore over the next four to five years. The announcement was made during a press conference held on Thursday in Pune by John Hitchcox, the chairman of the company.

Notably, the brand name “Yoo by Strack” enjoys a global presence, operating across 21 countries. Currently, the company is engaged in 41 different projects worldwide, contributing an impressive investment of ₹40,000 crore to the real estate sector.

Recognizing the robust growth in the real estate markets of India and China, John Hitchcox sees promising opportunities for investment in India. The popularity of branded homes in the country further fuels the company's interest in strengthening its footprint in the Realty Sector.
