DLF Garden City: A New Residential Project Coming Soon to Panchkula
Delhi-based real estate giant DLF is expanding its presence near Chandigarh with the upcoming DLF Garden City project, a residential development planned for approximately 200 acres near Panchkula. DLF has already secured 34 acres for the initial phase, with acquisition efforts for the remaining land underway.
This isn't DLF's first foray into Chandigarh. The company has already established a 12.4-acre IT Park in the city, representing an investment of around Rs 240 crore.
DLF Garden City Project Details
The DLF Garden City residential project, spanning 34 acres, will offer a diverse range of 2, 3, and 4 BHK apartments:
- 2 BHK: 1250 sq ft
- 3 BHK: 1550 sq ft to 2050 sq ft
- 4 BHK: 2250 sq ft to 2550 sq ft
A DLF official confirmed the acquisition of 34 acres of land near Panchkula on National Highway-22. The company is awaiting final licensing approvals from the Haryana government, expected by the end of the month, after which the project will officially commence.
Project Highlights: Beyond Residential
Beyond residential apartments, DLF Garden City is envisioned as an integrated township with planned amenities, including:
- Club House: Catering to residents' recreational needs.
- Schools: Potential collaborations with esteemed institutions like Vijay International School and Educom are being explored.
- Hospital: A partnership with a leading healthcare provider such as Fortis or Wockhardt is anticipated.
Additional Land Acquisition Plans
Unofficial sources indicate that DLF is also exploring the acquisition of nearly 400 acres in Mullanpur, near Mohali. This separate project, estimated at over Rs 1 crore, is proposed as a plotted township development rather than an integrated township.
