The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has commenced offerings that include flats under the residential category, as well as plots designated for industrial, institutional, and commercial purposes. This initiative was launched on Wednesday, encompassing five distinct housing schemes within its jurisdiction.
A total of 280 residential flats are being made available, priced at Rs 11 lakh for 200 smaller units and Rs 19 lakhs for 80 larger ones. Arunvir Singh, the CEO of YEIDA, commented, “These flats have been left over from previous schemes; they will be allotted on a lottery basis and are located in Sector 22D.” This lottery system will enable prospective buyers to secure a chance at these residential options.
In addition, the authority is marketing commercial plots intended for investment and business purposes. These plots have been priced at Rs 34,080 per square meter, and technical bids for these properties will be decided upon by June 30. Singh noted, “The development and construction of buildings to be used for commercial purposes are being offered on a 90-year lease.” YEIDA will oversee the maintenance and development of the plots; however, the eventual assignee will be responsible for further construction on the land.
Moreover, a significant total of 106 institutional plots have been designated for interested investors. The pricing for these industrial plots is set at Rs 7,560 per square meter and is located within sectors 18, 20, and 22. The allotment process for these properties will follow a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, 339 industrial plots of varying sizes, up to 2,000 square meters, are also on sale. These plots are priced at Rs 6,405 per square meter and can be found in sectors 29 and 32. Officials have stated that the scheme will close on June 30.
