GMADA's Big Property Auction in August 2025
The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) introduced a wide-ranging e-auction program in August 2025. This initiative offered 156 top-quality properties in New Chandigarh and SAS Nagar. The auction showcased many investment opportunities. Commercial properties made up most of the offerings with 99 SCOs, booths, and shops starting at ₹83 lakh. Hotel development sites were highly priced, with nine locations starting from ₹73 crore. Educational infrastructure got a lot of attention through six school sites, starting at ₹22 crore.
Mixed-use developments were the auction's highlights, with six sites starting at ₹238 crore. Developers seeking significant urban development opportunities in New Chandigarh's expanding commercial areas can benefit from this auction.
Easy Payment Terms for Investors
GMADA made the auction easy to join. Winners only needed to pay 10% of their winning bid. The authority also offered a 15% rebate for buyers who paid the full amount within 120 days.
