Andhra Pradesh Works on Resource Mobilization

Andhra Pradesh to Raise ₹3,000 Crore from Land Sales

The Andhra Pradesh government is actively pursuing resource mobilization strategies. In light of the emerging signs of economic recovery, the state has formulated a plan to generate ₹3,000 crore through the strategic sale of government-owned lands. This initiative reflects the government's commitment to leveraging assets for bolstering the state's finances.

Economic Recovery Drives Initiative

During a recent review meeting, officials observed encouraging indicators of economic rebound. This positive trend prompted the Chief Minister to direct the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to formulate comprehensive proposals for the land sales. The move demonstrates the government's proactive approach to capitalizing on the improving economic landscape.

APIIC and HMDA to Prepare Proposals

The Chief Minister specifically tasked the APIIC and HMDA with developing detailed plans outlining the execution of the land sales. This encompasses identifying suitable land parcels, determining appropriate pricing strategies, and establishing transparent and efficient sales processes. The involvement of these key agencies underscores the importance of a coordinated and strategic approach to maximizing revenue generation. This initiative promises to inject substantial funds into the state's coffers and contribute to its ongoing development programs.
