While the police are still investigating the motive behind this heinous crime, initial assumptions suggest theft as a potential factor. There are indications that Mr. Goyal recently finalized the sale of several properties.

Furthermore, it has been found that Mr. Goyal had withdrawn a substantial sum of money from his bank account to fund a kidney transplant. This large amount of cash was assumed to be secured at his home.

The Chief Minister (CM) of the state, Akhilesh Yadav, has directed DGP Deo Raj Nagar to expedite the investigation and ensure it is treated as a matter of utmost priority.

According to State Home Secretary R. N. Upadhyay, a Special Task Force team has been formed to provide support to the Ghaziabad police in their investigation efforts.

Police officials currently suspect the murders transpired between the hours of 9 p.m. and 12 midnight.

Although theft is considered to be a primary motive, the police acknowledge the possibility that the murders were intended to eliminate Mr. Goyal and his entire family. The developer’s two married daughters are his only surviving relatives.
