MoU Between Century Real Estate and IIM-B

Bangalore-based Century Real Estate has recently solidified a partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the IIMB-Century real estate research initiative.

The primary objective of this IIMB-Century Real Estate Research Initiative is to gather data and conduct in-depth, cross-disciplinary research relevant to the Indian real estate market, which will later be published in esteemed academic and practitioner journals. This effort was delineated in a statement released by the real estate company.

P Dayananda Pai, the Founder of Century Real Estate, articulated, "There is a tearing need for such an initiative in the real estate space that will focus on research, act as an interface between the industry and the policymakers, and eventually churn out quality human resources for this sector."

Furthermore, this research initiative aspires to offer valuable insights and strategic recommendations to both governmental bodies and industry stakeholders addressing pressing matters pertaining to the Real Estate sector.

Professor Venky Panchapagesan, who has taken the lead in establishing this initiative at IIMB, noted, "The initial charter for the Research Initiative will be to create a taxonomy of relevant data that will be required to conduct meaningful research, initiate research projects that address critical knowledge gaps, and engage with key stakeholders within the industry."
