CBRE India Pvt Ltd, a prominent player in property consulting, has officially announced the launch of its new office in Kochi. According to a press release, they stated, "With a dedicated office and the right resources, CBRE is strategically positioned to enhance its service to clients while facilitating the growth of the real estate sector in the area." Kochi, recently designated as part of the government's smart city initiative, has gained significant traction and witnesses notable growth in the real estate domain; the demand for office space, investors, large corporate occupiers, and developers continues to rise. The release further highlighted that CBRE currently manages approximately 4 million square feet in Asset Services and more than 8 million square feet in Project Management across the city. In comparison, another consultancy, JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), has been operational in Kochi for eight years. With the opening of this new office, CBRE now offers its services across 10 locations and maintains a presence in 30 cities throughout the nation.
