The John Marshall Law School will present “Real Estate Investing in India: Opportunities and Challenges” at an event.

The Centre for Real Estate Law at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago is set to host an informative lecture titled “Real Estate Investing in India: Opportunities and Challenges” on April 4, 2012.

The discussion will delve into the risks and benefits associated with purchasing real estate in India. Scheduled for April 4, the event will feature a panel of esteemed guests including Shahrookh Cambata, Scott Eisenberg, and Marc J. Strauss who will share their insights and experiences.

This complimentary program will run from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and aims to explore the growing interest in the Indian real estate market. With investments increasing as traditional markets in the U.S. and Western Europe stagnate, many investors are eyeing developing markets like India for potentially better returns. The speakers will examine various aspects, discussing both the opportunities and challenges tied to investing in this vibrant sector. Since 2005, Indian real estate sales have seen considerable progress, largely due to the government enhancing protections for foreign ownership.

The lecture will benefit attendees by presenting expert opinions from three industry leaders: Shahrookh Cambata, the managing member and CEO of Greaves Travel; Scott Eisenberg, an attorney and real estate entrepreneur affiliated with Lakeshore Investment Development; and Marc J. Strauss, the general counsel for First Rockford Group.

Interested individuals are encouraged to register for the event at http://www.events.jmls.edu/re-india. Attorneys attending the session can earn two hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.
