Indian Realty Sector growing very Fast

The real estate sector is anticipated to expand and reach an impressive US $180 billion by the year 2020, as noted by analysts and industry experts at a recent seminar held in the city.

Students from the Acharya Bangalore B School participated in a three-day seminar focusing on Real Estate Management that commenced on Thursday. Noteworthy realtors and analysts were also present at this event, providing students with insights regarding potential future careers and a variety of professional pathways they might explore.

During the seminar, Vineet Singh, the Business Head of 99Acres.com, delivered a paper titled ‘Internet and Real Estate.’ He remarked, “As per reports by real estate intelligence firms, India is ranked as the fifth most attractive destination for future real estate investments, with China leading the list. The Indian real estate industry is anticipated to achieve a remarkable US $180 billion by 2020. This seminar plays a vital role in bridging academia and industry, enabling mutual growth and understanding. It allows us to grasp what the emerging talent has to offer, while they gain insight into the industry perspective.”

Industry experts from prominent organizations such as Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, and other leading real estate companies participated in the event to educate and guide the students. One student, Niharika Singh, expressed, “I’ve always had an interest in this industry since my family is involved in real estate. However, at this seminar, I could pose some foundational questions and receive pertinent answers that are relevant to the industry.”
