Maytas Hill County SEZ Launched, Two More in Pipeline
Maytas Properties, a prominent property development company based in Hyderabad, has officially launched its first IT/ITES Special Economic Zone (SEZ), known as Maytas Hill County SEZ. This project is situated on a expansive 74-acre plot in Bachupalli and represents an investment of Rs 2,500 crore.
Key Highlights of the Project:
- Total Built-up Area: Approximately 8 million square feet
- First Phase Completion: Expected by Oct-Dec next year, offering 1.3 million square feet of built-up area
- Initial Client: Wells Fargo & Co, US, has signed up for space in the incubation center
- Incubation Space Details: Total area of 60,000 square feet, with Wells Fargo occupying one-fourth of this space
- Project Timeline: The entire project, to be executed in five phases, is anticipated to be completed within 8-10 years

- Integrated Development Approach: Maytas Properties CEO, K Thiagarajan, emphasized that all the company's SEZs will feature adjoining integrated townships, promoting convenient, walkable access to work, shopping, dining, and recreational facilities.
- Affordability and Accommodation Types: The Maytas Hill County Township, an integral part of the SEZ, will offer a diverse range of accommodations, including apartments, villas, retail spaces, educational facilities, hospitality services, and medical facilities. Notably, various dwelling units are already ready for occupation, catering to a broad spectrum of residents, including lower-rung IT staff, with options such as service apartments and rooms.
