Bhubaneswar is set to receive a remarkable addition as part of its smart city initiative: a World Trade Center (WTC) that will serve as a nucleus for both private and government offices at Satya Nagar.
According to sources, the blueprint for the Satya Nagar Institutional Core is actively in development. Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited is laying out plans to thoroughly establish a sprawling 48-acre area, which will not only include the World Trade Center but also feature two commercial spaces and two upscale hotels.
Krishan Kumar, Vice Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), stated, "The Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has identified the land for this undertaking. Much like the current IDCO tower housing multiple financial institutions, the WTC is expected to accommodate large offices. The exact height of the WTC tower and its total floor count are still yet to be determined."
