The Bengaluru-based Atria group is set to significantly expand its presence in the Indian hospitality sector. The group plans to add 1500 rooms to its inventory at an investment of Rs 1500 Crore over the next five years. New hotel projects are slated to come up in ** Delhi NCR**, Chennai, Mysore, Coorg, and Hyderabad.
A major highlight of this expansion is the upcoming launch of the Atria Grand, Whitefield, a five-star luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2009.
Atria Hospitality Management Services (AHMS), a subsidiary of the Atria group, will oversee the planning, construction, and operation of several brands including Atria Hotel, Atria Express Hotel, Atria Serviced Apartments, and Atria Resort. AHMS will also offer a range of services on a pan-India basis, including:

- Management Services
- Brand Franchise
- Training
- Sales and Marketing Services
