Patna’s 1,289-Metre Mandiri Nala Smart Road Set for Inauguration

Patna’s two-lane Mandiri Nala smart road, costing about ₹115.08 crore, is scheduled to open Monday as Navin Kishore Sinha Path.

The 1,289-metre, two-lane road built over Mandiri Nala is scheduled to be inaugurated Monday, May 11, on the 77th birth anniversary of former MLA Navin Kishore Prasad Sinha. It will be named Navin Kishore Sinha Path.
Patna Smart City Limited’s project cost approximately ₹115.08 crore. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and BJP national president and Rajya Sabha member Nitin Nabin will inaugurate it.
The road connects the Income Tax roundabout on Nehru Path (Bailey Road) to Bansghat on Danapur-Ashok Rajpath near Siddheswari Kali temple, and links to JP Ganga Path. It is intended to ease congestion and address drainage challenges.

The four-lane road above it is intended to ease congestion in Saidpur, Rajendra Nagar, Musallahpur Haat, Gaighat and Pahari, and provide an alternative connection to the New Patna Bypass.
