After councillors complained about a junior engineer’s performance in creating property IDs and other tasks, Commissioner Mahabir Parsad initially suspended him on the mayor’s recommendation, then formed a committee led by Assistant Engineer Mrinal Jaiswal to review his work over six months. Another junior engineer faced action for failing to repair a damaged electricity pole after two months. An agency was debarred over poor-quality development work; absent senior officials will receive show-cause notices.

Officials reported 160 single-use-plastic challans and ₹2.80 lakh in fines over six months, and removal of illegal cable wires from 47 sites. Police registered 116 NDPS cases and arrested 216 people this year; they issued 5,000 traffic-violation and 415 no-parking challans. Illegal colonies and constructions were also discussed.
