The proposed 20-km high-speed underground corridor would extend the Airport Express Line from Yashobhoomi in Dwarka Sector 25 to Rajiv Chowk in Connaught Place. DMRC’s Detailed Project Report proposes five underground stations near major residential and institutional areas. The line could reduce the journey to less than 25 minutes and improve access to the Yashobhoomi India International Convention and Expo Centre, Dwarka and central Delhi. It is intended to offer a more direct alternative to congested roads and the longer Blue Line journey, while easing road traffic.

DMRC has completed preliminary soil investigations and alignment studies to avoid existing utilities and infrastructure. Tunnel Boring Machines are proposed to limit disruption in densely populated areas. Statutory clearances and funding approvals are being processed; construction would follow approval.
