Located in sector - 45. A reasonably good society. Those looking for luxurious apartments will be disappointed. Its a newly constructed society. Has approx 8-10 buildings. Some of them are ready to move and some will take approx 1 year. Review is of a 4 BHK apartment.

Pros
  • Reasonably priced, according to the area.
  • The master bedroom is very big with a separate entrance of the servant quarter.
Cons
  • Amarpali Sapphire has many buildings (close to 8-10), making it cluttered.
  • Not all apartments have access to sunlight.
  • The surrounding area is not so good. Its a little secluded.

Noida authority fines Amarpali Sapphire for sewage violations

Noida Authority filed an FIR and imposed a ₹73 lakh penalty on Amarpali Sapphire housing society for operating a non-functional sewage treatment plant and dumping untreated wastewater.

Key facts

Noida Authority filed FIR against Amarpali Sapphire housing society for violating Air Act 1974, Water Act 1974, and solid waste management rules 2016/2020. A site inspection on Saturday found the sewage treatment plant (STP) inside the complex was non-operational. The society dumped untreated wastewater into storm water drains without treatment. Penalty of ₹73 lakh imposed on Amrapali Sapphire Apartment Owners Association (AOA), responsible for treating wastewater before discharge. Article 272 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita invoked for unlawful dumping. National Green Tribunal directions require societies to set up treatment plants before discharging into drains. AOA member Ajay Shukla claimed NBCC (builder) had not handed over facilities properly. Noida Authority intensified inspections since August 3, 2022 following NGT directive to prevent untreated water dumping into Yamuna River. Authority stated it will continue enforcement with penalties and criminal cases. Residents suggested Authority engage with AOAs for collaborative fixes rather than only penalties.
