Pollachi is a people friendly town where you have no pollution at all and you can enjoy the nature at its best with its pleasant climatic conditions and very beautiful scenery you cant miss. And it is also fast developing locality of Coimbatore adapting to the current high-tech trends. If you want to settle down, I would say that this is the best place with almost all facilities for family with children like Good hospitals with well renowned specialists, a handsome number of Nursery Hospitals, Well renowned Schools( Anglo-Indian, International,Matric and State Board), Shopping Area were u get all type of garments. And Pollachi is well known for its Supermarket which is the SECOND largest in Asia with fresh vegetables,fruits and various foods at reasonable price. And also you transport facilities buses,cabs and the railway station and airport which is in Coimbatore is about 30km and 35km respectively.

Pollachi is a Municipal town and it is very close to Anamalai hills of westernghat with very good rainfall and climatic condition. Pollachi market is very famous in Tamil Nadu. Due to very good availability land is fertile and agriculture is very attractive one. One can stay at Pollachi and make sight seeing places such as Anaimudi, Valparai, Ailar Dam. There are very good film shooting location surrounding Pollachi. Agriculturists are really rich surrounding Pollachi.
It was well connected by Road and train but train service was suspended for the last two years due to gauge convertion.Pros
