Vasai is one of the most densely populated towns in all of India.
Its merely 60 kms from the heart of Mumbai city. It is on the Western Railway line and is also a junction for outstation trains. In fact, the longest distance Rajdhani stops at Vasai as it is now a main junction. A Separate central line is now in function connecting Vasai to Diva-Panvel-Bhiwandi and onwards to Pune etc via this line.

Vasai West is recently upgraded to the level of a Municipal Corporation, Vasai falls on the proposed Delhi Mumbai Freight Corridor of the Central Government and is a pleasant residential neighborhood. With the latest spree of infrastructure development projects and expansion of railway lines the connectivity has only gone from being good to the best - whether its with western or central line (special shuttle service to Diva Jun.) - via both rail and road networks.

Vasai west is a very good place to live. Most of the residents are engaged in their own work. It is a safe place, like at 1 am at night also you will feel safe and there is continuous autos at 1 am also which is the important thing.
