Greater Noida plans to widen the 5-km Amritpuram-Makoda road to six lanes and has identified four additional stretches for widening.

Greater Noida is widening the approximately 5-km Amritpuram-Makoda road from four lanes to six in phases. Work is underway on an approximately 1-km section between Rampur Roundabout in Sector Beta-1 and Delta-2 Roundabout, adding one lane on each side. The route connects Surajpur-Kasna Road with the 130-metre-wide road at Makoda and passes Amritpuram Roundabout, Rampur Roundabout and the ATS Roundabout near Zeta-1. Widening is also identified between the ATS and Makoda roundabouts; a tender record lists work on the main carriageway between Amritpuram Rotary and Rampur Rotary.
Four other proposed stretches are LG Roundabout to Rampur in Sector Beta-1, NASA Parking to Sharda Roundabout, Galgotia Underpass to NASA Parking, and Rise Police Chowki to Jalpura. Schedules and completion dates are unconfirmed.
Noida International Airport at Jewar began commercial flights on June 15, 2026; its first phase is designed for up to 12 million passengers annually. GNIDA is the source for confirmed work schedules, completion dates and traffic diversions.
