All allottees in Noida can now apply for completion certificates online. This digital platform allows individuals in all categories to independently evaluate adherence to building plan regulations and remit any necessary interest or compounding fees to the Noida Authority online.
Previously, the Authority's online application system catered only to industrial and residential allottees. To date, over 1,600 Noida allottees have utilized the online system for completion certificate applications. On Tuesday, the Authority broadened their online services to encompass all recipients, including those in commercial, group, and institutional housing sectors. These expanded options will be accessible to users starting Wednesday.
Authority officials reported that only 21 requests for completion certificates are currently pending. The remaining submissions have been addressed.
According to an Authority representative, "Either a completion certificate was issued, or the allottees were asked to submit pending documents to receive it. Currently, only 21 out of 1,626 applications from us are awaiting processing."
Certificate Issued with Digital Signature
CEO Ritu Maheshwari stated, “It can take up to 90 days to dispose of an application for issuing completion certificate. It is issued online with a digital signature and the applicant does not have to visit the office of the Noida authority.”
She further added, “Message alerts will be sent to the allottee registered mobile number at each step. Applicants who have submitted the necessary documents will be notified so that the application remains pending via text messages.”
While the process for residential plot owners to obtain a certificate of completion entails fewer formalities, other plot types require the submission of 30 to 35 documents. The required documentation includes certificates such as no-objection certificates from pollution control and fire departments, alongside confirmations related to elevator safety, building construction, labour cess registration, and rainwater harvesting systems.
Prior to issuing a completion certificate, the Authority will scrutinize the reported infringements disclosed by the allottee. The original building plan, approved earlier by a group of planning officials, will undergo a review process. Subsequently, a designated team will conduct a site inspection to verify adherence to all stipulated procedures.
