Mendori demolition: Illegal colony being developed on 1.59 hectare land near Kerwa dam by a developer. Market value of cleared land: Rs 15 crore. Roads and plots constructed without statutory permissions.

Barkhedi Bajayaft demolition: Illegal colony being developed on land in the name of the son of a former IAS officer (former Bhopal collector). Market value of cleared land: Rs 12 crore. Same builder involved as in Mendori.

Total land value cleared: Rs 27 crore.

Huzur SDM Vinod Sonakiya stated that 24 illegal colonies have been demolished in Huzur area so far. Builders had constructed roads and cut plots for sale without obtaining required permissions under law.
