It is a Prime Location.
Good connectivity to many important area.
Close proximity to Lalbagh, Richmond Circle, Shanti nagar area.
This is surrounded by many schools, temples, eat-outs, hospitals & shopping complexes.
Cauvery water supply is available.

Pros:
  • Easy to get autos even in odd hours
  • Easy access to hospitals during emergencies
  • Main market and Rly station are not far off
Cons:
  • No much parking space on the roads
  • It is both commercial and residential area
  • Rents are high in this area

Review of Shanti Nagar, Bangalore

Shanti nagar is a calm, quiet and traffic free, good residential location.
Not much of commercial activities are happening here, though of late many small and medium size shops / offices are opened in the recent past.
This is very cosmopolitan area, surrounded by all types of community people.
This is a prime location, center place for all major localities like City Market, M G Road, Jaya nagar etc. Railway station is hardly 6 kms from this place.
No doubt, the roads are not much maintained by the authorities despite repeated requests & reminders. There is peace prevailing here and the life is worth living. With a little more care and attention to the development of the place, by the elected representatives, this location will prove to be place of comfortable living.

  • Not many multi-storied buildings
  • Cosmopolitan area
Cons:
  • Rental values and property costs bery high.
  • Car parking is a big issue. Scooter/car garages block easy flow of traffic.
  • Roads are not properly illuminated.
  • Slowly becoming commercial hub.
